The Walls of Poetica is a zany new musical adventure for children aged 5-12. When adventurous orphan, Quinn, comes across a great impenetrable wall one day, he digs his way through a pooey, slime-filled pipe and into the quirky town of Poetica, where people speak only in rhyme and everyone lives in fear of The Teacher. The outrageously fun and zany characters Quinn meets are unlike anyone he has ever seen before, and to them he is nothing but alien. No one seems to know why the walls are up, why there is a curfew or why the town is shut off from the rest of the world. But with the help of a new found Friend, loads of comedy, poetry, live music, audience interaction, puppetry, mime and a sufficient amount of fart jokes, an investigation into the mystery of the wall unravels and two opposing worlds begin to find the joy in welcoming, rather than fearing, new experiences and people.

Help! The Mayor of Joyville has been kidnapped! And without him, the whole town is utterly miserable. Holly, our curly-haired adventurer, is the town’s last hope. Together with her rock ‘n’ roll rat friend Boris, Holly goes on a quest to rescue the Mayor and restore the Joy to Joyville. But what she doesn’t realise is that joy can be found anywhere, sometimes when you least expect it, and that all you really need is a pocketful of joy.
With a host of outrageously quirky characters, physical theatre, puppetry, original music, dancing and loads of fun, the whole family will be laughing and toe-tapping all the way home.
